STUFF YOUR OWN DAMN STOCKING MRS. CLAUS
Let's be honest, you're buying yourself Christmas gifts. Don't lie, you know you want what you want and someone (uhh mommy of course) has to stuff the stockings as only Mrs. Claus would do, so might as well stuff something perfect in there that you want. And I'm not talking socks.
My eyes are rolling out of my head with so many cute things out in the stores and cyber space. So I'm gonna list a few things you might want too. Good stuff. And don't be fooled, there are still sales out there, even for the good stuff. Like these puffers below. Jackets are investments but if you live near the cold, invest well, and on sale! These are super cute and on my list this year...vests are perfect for warmer climates, but the white puffer Herno is super light weight and yet this line has plenty options for those of you who live on the east coast and northeast cold climates.
Who needs jeans? Give me all the jeans. Not kidding. Grey is on my lust list again this year. Every year. I have an old grey pair that I still love, but these knock those out of the park. Frame is cozy and flattering.
Moms are always running around and you need cute sneakers. I say keep a pair of white Chucks on hand at all times. In style, affordable and always on trend. And if chucks aren't your thing, you can go with the shoe of the moment, the adidas.
Also, here's a super cute high-top that I can't have because they don't have my size but you can if they have your size. We can't have everything. Also, some of my favorites below won't fit in my stocking even if I fold them super small, so just wrap it up, sign it and open happily on Christmas day. Also, if your husband says what do you want for Christmas, you can just give him these ideas, he can click on the items and purchase or he can buy you anything he wants, just make sure you get a receipt, or is that too bitchy?
Also, I"m not a tech buff, but there are certain things I need always, like more battery charge on my phone, wireless headphones and I don't do plastic water bottles if I can help it, so a cute water bottle to refill everyday is a perfect stocking stuffer. Your kid might want it, but just say no, he or she can have the less cute less expensive grocery store version.
And last, but not least, these stocking stuffers should all be yours, but like I said we can't have it all, so for your besties dirty santa exchange, your daughter's kindergarten teacher or your sister, here's some ideas that won't disappoint.
I honestly can't say it enough. Stuff your own damn stocking. You put in so much blood sweat and tears into Christmas for the whole family and you deserve to open your stocking at 6 am before you've even had coffee and pull out something fabulous. You do. Don't argue, just buy yourself something, stuff the stocking, wrap it up and be all the happy you deserve. And then, drink the coffee, watch the kiddos beam from their faces with all the happy they get on Christmas morning and bask in the glory. Happy shopping and happy holidays!!!
